About BlindSpot.fit

AI visibility intelligence for hospitality. We show you where you’re invisible and give you the intelligence to act on it.

Who We Are

BlindSpot.fit is an AI visibility intelligence platform purpose-built for hospitality. Unlike typical GEO tools, our system is designed by industry practitioners with deep expertise in hospitality and an understanding of guest behaviours across markets.

That means we don’t just test whether AI knows your hotel exists. We test whether AI recommends you when a traveler is planning their wedding, booking a conference for 200 people, searching for a family-friendly pool hotel, or looking for a romantic anniversary getaway. These are the queries that drive bookings, and they require hospitality expertise to design.

Our prompt library covers 15 intent categories, including MICE, events, family travel, weddings, transport proximity, budget, luxury, and solo travel, across 8 languages with both formal and colloquial variants validated by native language datasets and proprietary validation methodologies.

BlindSpot was built to close the gap between where travelers are going (AI) and where hotels are still investing (Google), giving marketing teams a clear, actionable view across every platform, language, and travel scenario that matters.

The Founder

Alex Hau has spent his career in digital, from hands-on search engine marketing and optimization at agencies, to leading digital for Colgate-Palmolive across Asia and Eastern Europe, to nine years in digital and technology at Marriott across Asia Pacific. The constant has been discovery: how people find and choose brands, through every shift from search to social to mobile, and now AI.

BlindSpot grew from a question Alex kept hearing from hotel marketing teams: “We rank well on Google, so why can’t AI find us?” He founded and co-leads the Singapore chapter of The AI Collective, builds AI products hands-on, and leads BlindSpot’s bespoke research and advisory directly.

What We Do

BlindSpot tracks how the major AI engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Qwen, DeepSeek, Doubao, Perplexity, and Meta AI) recommend hotels in response to traveler queries, with Google Maps used as a verification layer. We test in 8 languages to capture how guests from different source markets discover hotels through AI.

We offer three layers of service: a bespoke AI visibility audit with expert advisory, a weekly Intelligence briefing + monthly report (currently open beta), and our published APAC AI Visibility Index covering 4,196 hotels across 20 cities.

The APAC AI Visibility Index is the most comprehensive multilingual AI visibility study for Asia-Pacific hospitality. It covers 20 Asia-Pacific destinations from Tokyo to Sydney, testing each hotel across 8 AI engines in 8 languages using colloquial, validated traveler prompts.

Methodology

Each hotel is scored 0-100 per engine using a two-factor model: mention detection (60% weight) and position ranking (40% weight). We use colloquial prompts, queries phrased the way real travelers ask, validated by native language datasets and proprietary validation methodologies, rather than keyword-style searches.

Our scoring methodology, prompt library, and full results are documented in the Singapore AI Visibility Index, our flagship report.
